This app is to present the living status of Chinese people. Chinas influence on the world has grown stronger. Has Chinese peoples living condition also been improved? Whats the difference between life in the city and that in the countryside? Whats the life like for a family with an annual income of 100 dollars? What kind of house do the millionaires live in? To answer these questions, Bai Xiaoci, a photographer, spent six years to shoot the dwellings of 325 Chinese in different social strata, presenting a faithful impression of life in China.

Every picture has been authorized by residents. Dwellings have been systematically divided into different catalogs. With the source of ownership indicated, every dwelling is followed by a detailed introduction about the residents.
